leucorrhoea (shower curtain) is an iteration of the project, leucorrhoea (2021-), that explores the underwear and its function as a protective surface; or rather, as an extra layer of intimate protection; as a site where the body accumulates-a site where one is delicately absorbed.
I photographed the surface of my underwear at the end of each day until I collected a set of 30 images. Numerous sets of the 30 images were printed using an inkjet printer, and have been used repeatedly to create collages until there was enough to cover the entire surface area of the walls of my home bathroom; resulting in a total of 38 collages of various sizes.
Transferred onto clear contact paper, the collages of these images become the very surfaces they represent. Layered over each other, bound within the dimensions of my bathroom's shower curtain, the accumulation of these semi-translucent collages creates a fog, softening the images. The resulting emphasis on the textures of the images and of the contact paper itself allows this delicate surface to exist beyond anything explicitly identifiable.

The same 5 gallons of water were used to transfer each of the 38 collages onto the contact paper. The 5 gallons of water are preserved in this jug.

The pulp released from the transfer process was collected and stuck to a rectangular wood panel, reflecting the layers of the transferred images that form leucorrhoea (curtain).
